The ThoraxTrainer® offers unique possibilities for wheelchair users, blind people and people suffering from other disabilities.
With a simple bench or chair you can from sitting position double- or diagonal pole and thereby strengthen your upper body. No other training devices on the market offering the same efficiency on strength and endurance for wheelchair users.

Blind people or visually impaired are able to train without a coach and in safe surroundings.
ThoraxTrainer® is used by the Swedish Paralympic Cross Country skiing and Sledge hockey teams, and by the Danish Paralympic Seat skiing team.

 One of the most interesting pieces of cardio equipment at the Paralympic Village, the Thorax Trainer® was designed for able-bodied cross country athletes. ThoraxTrainer® uses poles and skis with a motion similar to real cross country skiing, and disabled skiers in wheelchairs figured out a way to adapt the equipment to work by only utilizing the poles.  With the simple addition of a chair in the center of the track ThoraxTrainer® is now a very valuable piece of training equipment for seated competitors in the cross country skiing event.
